Agreement

These terms apply to spoolquote.com, published by Bockius Ventures LLC, a Texas limited liability company. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Estimates, not advice

Every calculator produces an estimate from the numbers you enter and from the published figures we cite, such as average electricity prices and manufacturer data sheets. Real costs, print times, power use and filament lengths vary with your equipment, materials, settings and tariff.

Nothing on SpoolQuote is financial, tax, accounting, legal or engineering advice. In particular, we can't tell you what sales tax applies to your sales or how to report income; ask a qualified professional or your state's tax agency. You're responsible for the prices you quote and charge.

Using the site

You may use the tools for personal and commercial purposes, including pricing your own work for customers. Please don't attempt to disrupt the site, get around its security, or overload it with automated requests. Search engines and AI assistants may crawl and cite the site as described in our robots.txt file.

Content and design

The site's text, design, code and graphics are owned by Bockius Ventures LLC unless noted otherwise. You may quote short passages with a link back to the page. Quotes you create with the quote builder belong to you.

Data license

Our downloadable data tables (the CSV files linked from the benchmark and filament pages) and the computed figures in them are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Credit "SpoolQuote" with a link to the page. The underlying source figures belong to their publishers (for example Bambu Lab, Prusa Polymers and the U.S. Energy Information Administration); check their terms before reusing them directly.

Third-party links and affiliate programs

We link to other websites, including retailers, sometimes through affiliate programs (see the affiliate disclosure). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, products, prices or policies. Purchases you make are between you and the retailer.

No warranty

The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work to keep figures correct and dated, but we don't guarantee that any result is accurate, complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Bockius Ventures LLC and its members won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
